Know all men by these presents that I Ransalaer Biddle of Cecil County in the State of Maryland do for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred dollars current money to me in hand paid by Jacob Biddle of the County and State aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof I the said Ransalaer Biddle dod hereby acknowledge, have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Jacob Biddle all my right, title and interest in the following described property to wit, my Corn Crop consisting of Twelve acres planted in corn at Nicholas Loyds place, seven acres in corn at Thomas V Wards place and seven acres in orn at William Tims place where I now reside, also two acres in Buckweat and one acre in Potatoes on the said last mentioned place also the following described property to wit: About four hundred Bushels of Oats in the Stacks at Nicholas Loyds, one two horse wagon, one horse cart, one Brown horse, eight head of Hogs, two Milch Cows, two yearling Calves, one Bed and Bedding and thirty Cords of wood in James Morgans Woods. To Have and To Hold all and singular the said goods and chattels, household stuff and other the premises, above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Jacob Biddle his executors, administrators and assigns forever. And I the said Ransalaer Biddle for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators all and singular the said goods and chattels and household stuff, and other the premises unto the said Jacob Biddle his executors, administrators and assigns against me the said Ransalaer Biddle my executors and administrators and against all and every person or persons whatsoever, shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents, of all and singular which said goods, chattels, household stuff, and other the premises, I the said Ransalaer Biddle have put the said Jacob Biddle in full possession by delivering to him the said Jacob Biddle the aforesaid Brown Horse, at the sealing and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be unto him the said Jacob Biddle as aforesaid. In witness whereof, I the said Ransalaer Biddle have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two.

Be it rememberd and it is hereby certified that on this fourteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two before the subscribers two Justices of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for the County of Cecil aforesaid personally appears Ransalaer Biddle he being known to us to be the person who is named and described as and professing to be a party to the foregoing deed and doth acknowledge the said instruments named and made oath that the consideration set forth in the same is true and bona fide as therein set forth. In testimony whereof we hereunto set our hand and subscribe our names the day and year aforesaid.
