Siegel F. Hilderbrand was born March 04, 1862 in Dallas Co., Missouri. He was the son of Peter Hildebrand (1828-1867) and Martha Ann Pepper (1838-1868) both of Jefferson Co., Missouri. Siegel married Eliza Jane Kelly about 1850 in Greene Co., Missouri. Eliza Jane was the daughter of John Kelly (1836-1872) and Mary A. Humble (1839-1911) of Greene Co., Missouri.
Born to Siegel and Eliza Jane were five children; Willam Benjamin b.November 24, 1885; Clara Bell b. October 07, 1887; Florence b. January 16, 1891; Lela Ann b. June 28, 1893; John Sherman b. April 11, 1899.
Eliza Jane died September 22, 1901 at Mumford, Missouri. Siegel died June 1, 1926 at Mumford also. They are both buried in Turner Cemetery.
