Headstone transcription and notes below by Wm. Bruce Pedigo who made the survey:
The Holman Cemetery is on the Charles Rector farm about 3
miles south of Hayes in Warren Co., KY. The cemetery is about 100 feet from the
house in a N.E. direction. It's a small wooded area.
The cemetery contained about 40 to 50 graves at one time. About
15 to 20 have factory stones and the rest are marked with native river stones.
The Holmans are buried in the south 1/2 of the cemetery.
Basically, the Beckham family and descendants are buried in the north 1/2. The back
2 rows are all river stones. In the 3rd row the Beckhams are on the north 1/2 and
the Holmans on the south 1/2. In the 4th row is Willis Hayden Pedigo. He has
a factory stone.
Later Holmans and Pedigos buried in this cemetery are in the 4th &
5th rows. No more factory stones after Willis Hayden Pedigo.
