William Pleasant and Charlotte Ann (Potter) Pedigo moved from Kentucky with their two children Minnie Ellen and Thomas Henry in 1884. They settled in Wichita, Kansas. Minnie Ellen married J.K. Long. In 1893, William P. Pedigo made the run into the Cherokee Strip and gained a farm near Covington.
