Mates;
Got a call from Jim about an hour ago. He's home from hospital after having incurred much damage to his aging body resulting
from a fall through an open trap door in a building he was inspecting.......dark hall, etc. He's slated for more surgery and regrets
he's probably not going to make the reunion.
Jim's not on a computer, but has one at work. He's going to try to view Our Ollie's Award Winning Web Page. He sends his
best wishes to all 58-B Classmates.

Dear Ollie. Jim Vary (Elbert J. Vary) and I went together to Hughes
Aircraft Company's E-4, E-5, and E-6 Fire Control Systems School in 1955, and
together were stationed at Otis AFB, MA until we were both selected for OCS, and
drove together to Lackland. Jim was from Illinois, never attended college, and
especially did not attend U. of Miss. When he retired, he went into the real
estate business Fr. Carson, Colorado (near Colorado Springs). When I last
talked to him, he was ill. He was not interested in computers other than the
one at his workplace used for MLS, so did not participate in email.
