Editor's Note:

One of our main projects for the Association is to continue to work our way down from Thomas the Emigrant. There are many "unconnected" branches that are just waiting to be linked to the main tree. Many of our members are unable to prove a definite link, and we hope that as we continue to add members, share information and conduct additional research, we will eventually be able to link more and more cousins to the Family Tree.
In the upcoming months, we will be listing the Philbrick & Philbrook families from selected counties listed in the 1850 census for Maine. This month, we are listing Penobscot County. If you have any additional information on the connection of these families, please e-mail us or write to the Editor.

JOSHUA HILTON PHILBRICK
(1830-1861)
Joshua Hilton Philbrick was a son of Clark Philbrick (JC #22-VII.-1.-Gen.#7) and Mary Hilton, who were married March 15, 1827 in Williams Co., Ohio. Joshua was married to Elizabeth Dean. Joshua had a brother named Horace N. who was born Jan. 27, 1832. Joshua is buried at Quirk Cemetery, Chester Township, Geaugala, Ohio If anyone has further information on any of these Philbricks or their descendants, please let us know
