Josiah lived in Danville on the farm granted in 1698 to his ancestor Thomas Philbrick, which (in 1886) had never passed out of possession of the family.

6338	v.	Sarah Q. PHILBRICK was born on 6 August 1832 in Hawke (now Danville), Rockingham, New Hampshire. She died on 21 November 1832 at the age of 0 in Hawke (now Danville), Rockingham, New Hampshire.

Josiah PHILBRICK and Sarah DIMOND were married on 20 November 1835. They had 4 children. Sarah DIMOND, daughter of Reuben DIMOND and Nancy , died before 1844.
