LeRoy was born March 16, 1930 in Osborne, Idaho. He served his country in the US Navy aboard the USS Krishna. LeRoy was a Master Mechanic, retiring from the University Inn in Moscow, Idaho. On June 26, 1981 he married Barbara Luther in Moscow. LeRoy and Barbara moved to Michigan where they made their home in Three Oaks. He enjoyed tinkering with machinery and would build furniture from scrap lumber. LeRoy loved animals, he once had cows, and more recently enjoyed his horses and chickens, and of course his dog Mikey.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; children, Sherry (Keith) Rawson of Milwaukee, Oregon, Jasmine Luther of Three Oaks; Kim (Chris) Wheaton of Palentine, Illinois and Jeffery (Mandy) Luther of Tiawan; grandchildren, Tammy Guinzi, Shanta Busch, Shilo Wroe and Alexander Sundblad and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Barker and son, Randy Sundblad.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Pobocik Funeral Home, Three Oaks, Michigan is serving the family.
