John Wesley BEEDE was born on 2 June 1831 in New Hampton, Grafton, New Hampshire.78 He died on 25 January 1905 at the age of 73 in Youngstown, Mahoning, Ohio.78 He is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. He moved to Lenox, OH and then to Youngstown, OH. He was an architect and builder. Many of the early Youngstown homes were built by him. He was listed in a Roll of Honor as a Corporal in athe Civil War, serving four months in Co. F, 29th Ohio Infantry; was discharged for disability, then he served 100 days in Co. D, 155th Ohio Infantry. The horrors of war greatly disturbed his mental well-being and resulted in his hospitalization for a while. John Wesley BEEDE and Permelia Maria DARROW were married on 12 February 1857 in Youngstown, Mahoning, Ohio.78 Permelia Maria DARROW, daughter of Reubin DARROW and Elizabeth BATES, was born on 10 August 1836 in Ellington, Chautauqua, New York.78 She died on 24 May 1899 at the age of 62 in Youngstown, Mahoning, Ohio.78 She is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.
