She was a graduate of Van Buren High School. Flora was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She was also employed at L.S. Hall and Martin's Clothing, Caribou, for a number of years. She was a member of Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of United Methodist Women's Group. Flora was also a member of Caribou Extension and Caribou Hoofers. She is survived by a son, James Philbrick and his wife, Valerie, of Caribou; three daughters, Florina L. Willis of Hamden, Ruth W. Bryant and her husband, Kenneth, of Winthrop and Janet Chandler of Lincoln; one sister, Hattie Gahagan of Manchester, Conn.; seven grandchildren Michele Theriault, Heather Perry, Trenton Chandler, Mairi St.Amand, Andrew Bryant, Jennifer Sherman and Lacie Philbrick; seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Coleman, Woodrow and Alphy Violette. Friends may call noon until the time of service 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Spring interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery.
