She was born in Union on Jan. 25, 1927, the daughter of the late Ivory B. and Marie L. (Philbrook) Hannon.
Mrs. Bunnell attended Gates Business College and was a member of Penney Memorial United Baptist Church.
She had been employed for more than 25 years at Statler Tissue in the finishing room.
Mrs. Bunnell was predeceased by her husband, Leo J. Bunnell, in 1971; a daughter, Donna Farrell; and two brothers, Norman and Robert Hannon.
Survivors include a son, Leo J. Bunnell Jr., of Augusta; a daughter, Judith Webber, of Mount Vernon; a brother, Roger Hannon, of Thomaston; four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
At her request, there will be no public visiting hours or funeral service. Burial will be held at a later date in Wall Cemetery, Riverside Drive, Augusta.
Arrangements are under the care of Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta.
