He died on 12 September 1955 at the age of 60 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.¹⁵⁹⁵ He served in the US Navy in 1912 during the Haitian Rebellion.

Claude Willis PHILBROOK and Lillian Victoria SCHOFIELD were married on 29 May 1917.¹⁵⁹⁵ Lillian Victoria SCHOFIELD, daughter of William Henry SCHOFIELD and Mary Catherine ZWICKER, was born on 18 October 1901 in Scituate, Providence, Rhode Island.¹⁵⁹⁵ She died on 5 January 1966 at the age of 64 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts.¹⁵⁹⁵ She was buried at Snow's Cemetery in Hermon, Penobscot, Maine.¹⁵⁹⁵
