WADE - Ryan A. Fox, 33, died unexpectedly Sept. 4, 2005, in Perham. He was born Sept. 27, 1971, in Caribou, the son of Jeff and Janice (Philbrook) Fox. Ryan graduated form Washburn District High School in 1990. He has since spent many years of dedicated service as a parts and service man for Clukey's Auto Supply and more recently employed by Brake Service in Presque Isle for the past two years. Ryan was a member and past master of the Washburn Lodge of Masons No. 193 AF & AM, a member of Anah Temple Shrine and the Aroostook Shrine Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and had a special spot in his heart for St. Bernard dogs and Aruba. Surviving him in addition to his parents of Westmanland, is his wife of 12 years, Helen (Rossignol) Fox of Wade; three children, Taylor Joy, Sydney Beth and Austyn Dawn Fox, all of Wade; a sister, Kelly Gumprecht and her husband, Tony, and their four children of Wade; maternal grandmother, Rita White; and a very special friend, Matthew Baker of Perham. Ryan was a therapeutic foster parent and has many foster children and three foster grandchildren, who return "home" often for holidays and picnics. Predeceasing him was his paternal grandparents, Basil and Joyce Fox, maternal grandfather, Clifford Philbrook and an uncle, Gary Fox. There will be no calling hours. Masonic Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, by Officers and Members of Washburn Lodge No. 193, AF & AM followed by funeral services with the Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Perham. In lieu of flowers please send donations, in support of a trust fund for Ryan's three daughters, to Kelly Gumprecht, 2 Fox Lane, Washburn, ME 04786. And Ryan, "We all still believe in Santa too...."
