Sixth Generation1129. Jonathan PHILBROOK was born on 7 April 1750 in Georgetown (Bath), Sagadahoc, Maine.70 In 1768, he received from his father, William PHILBROOK, 250 acres on the Cathance; but after a few years came to Gardner. He removed to Bangor, and was drowned in a mill stream, at the Penobscot. [See History of Gardner].
