She died on 9 September 1820 at the age of 77.⁵⁸⁴ Abigail was buried in Limington, York, Maine. Her old broken stone is located at the Berry Lot in the Hardscrabble section. The stone reads: "Mrs. Abigail, wife of James Berry, Died Sept. 9, 1820, aged 76 yrs."

Abigail PHILBROOK and James BERRY of Ossipee were married on 18 October 1764.^373,585

James BERRY of Ossipee was born in 1739 in Biddeford, York, Maine.⁵⁸⁵ He died on 13 July 1817 at the age of 78.⁵⁸⁵

Abigail PHILBROOK-4382 and James BERRY of Ossipee-13540 had the following children:

2217	i.	In 1794, he purchased land in Standish, Cumberland, Maine.⁵⁸⁵ Walter F. BERRY^⁵⁸⁵ was buried in South Standish, Cumberland, Maine.⁵⁸⁵ Walter and his wife had 7 children. The first born of this union was a son, Robert Tufton Berry. From experience with research of this Berry family, they name their children after deceased relatives. This Robert Tufton Berry is buried in Alfred, York, Maine, along with his family.
