Elizabeth (Betsey) PHILBRICK was baptized on 11 March 1764 in Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire.³⁰¹ [This conflicts with the date of birth found in Chapman and History of Buckfield.] She was born on 24 March 1764 in Buckfield, Oxford, Maine.¹⁵ She died on 2 March 1847 at the age of 82.⁴⁹⁷ Elizabeth was buried in New Gloucester, Cumberland, Maine.⁴⁹⁷

Elizabeth (Betsey) PHILBRICK and James THURLOW were married on 25 November 1780 in Gorham, Cumberland, Maine.^497,498 They joined the Shakers in Alfred, ME.

James THURLOW⁴⁹⁷ was born about 1758.⁴⁹⁸ He died in 1790 at the age of 32.⁴⁹⁸

Elizabeth (Betsey) PHILBRICK-3628 and James THURLOW-3633 had the following children:

1760	ii.	Dorothy Ruth THURLOW⁴⁹⁸ was born about 1785.⁵⁰⁰ She appeared in the census in 1850 in Alfred, York, Maine.²³⁴ She was a member of the Alfred ME Shaker Community.
