Job PHILBROOK was born about 1729 in Biddeford, York, Maine.110 [The PPFA says Greenland] He was baptized in 1729 in Greenland, Rockingham, New Hampshire.386 He died on 16 September 1802 at the age of 73 in Vinalhaven, Knox, Maine.70 Job and Samuel Malune (Malloon) were captured by the Indians at Georgetown April 26, 1748, "the two men were captured as they were plowing about two hundred yards from Mr. Philbrook's Garrison.
