James PHILBRICK was born on 21 June 1714 in Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire.270 He was baptized on 13 October 1717 in Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire.271 He died on 15 April 1796 at the age of 81 in Deerfield, Rockingham, New Hampshire. L.B. Parson's "History of Rye, New Hampshire," states on page 255, "In a petition dated March 24, 1761, James Philbrick stated that his son, Jonathan, was in the Province service as a private under Capt. Jeremiah Marston in the expedition against Canada in 1760; that he was taken sick at Crown Point. He asked for an allowance to pay for getting him home, and for the services of Dr. John Weeks of Hampton, which was granted to the extent of L4, 10s, sterling." James PHILBRICK and Elizabeth RAND were married on 11 November 1736 in Rye, Rockingham, New Hampshire.272 [He is supposed to have married twice, (1) Elizabeth, (2) Sarah.] He had 13 children. Elizabeth RAND273, daughter of Nathaniel RAND and Elizabeth MARDEN, was born on 2 August 1716 in Rye, Rockingham, New Hampshire.139,171 She died on 15 May 1763 at the age of 46.273 James PHILBRICK-3283 and Elizabeth RAND-3287 had the following children:
