WICHITA - William (Pete) Philbrick, 54, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005.
He served in the Army in Korea. He worked for the phone company from 1971 to 2004. He was a telephone service tech/installer. He served in the search and rescue for the civil defense in Dodge City. He loved the outdoors, and was a caring father, husband, brother and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Sue; one son, Troy E; and one daughter, Carrie Dawn Philbrick, all of Wichita; one sister, Linda Williams and husband, Stan, one brother Arley Philbrick and wife, Rhonda, all of Hutchinson; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
Visitation with family present will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Lakeview Funeral Home, Wichita.
