5392. Charles F. PEASE was born on 10 August 1823 in Tamworth, Carroll, New Hampshire.¹¹⁹⁴ He appeared in the census in 1870 in South Newmarket, Rockingham, New Hampshire.⁸⁷ He was 46, a carpenter, with Mary A., wife, 47; James W. 16; William, 14; and Albert, 9.

He appeared in the census in 1880 in South Newmarket, Rockingham, New Hampshire.⁸⁷ He was a pattern maker; living with wife Mary A., 57, and Albert, son, 19, laborer.

Charles signed a will on 18 June 1903 in Epping, Rockingham, New Hampshire.⁸⁷ He named his wife Huldah as executris of his estate and delared:
"To neither of my four children, my daughter Mary J. Winslow, my son William Pease, my son John W. Pease, and my son George W. Pease, do I make any gift, bequest nor defise." His other five children had predeceased him. From the will and probate record (N. 12155), dated 3 Nov 1903, Rockingham County, it appears that Huldah H. Pease "died without qualifying, being the sole residuary legatee and devisee named in said will."

He died on 8 September 1903 at the age of 80 in Epping, Rockingham, New Hampshire.¹¹⁹⁴ He was buried in Newfields, Rockingham, New Hampshire.⁸⁷ He had Civil War service, based on the GAR marker at his gravestone.

Charles F. PEASE and Mary Ann YORK were married about 1842.⁸⁷ Mary Ann YORK, daughter of George YORK, was born on 19 August 1822 in Epping, Rockingham, New Hampshire.⁸⁷ She died on 17 April 1896 at the age of 73 in Newfields, Rockingham, New Hampshire.⁸⁷

Charles F. PEASE and Huldah LOCKE were married on 19 September 1898 in Newfields, Rockingham, New Hampshire.⁸⁷ Marriage intentions were filed 19 Sep 1898, the same day of marriage. They were married by Justice of the Peach H. Jenness Paul. Charles was aged 75 and Hulda, 61. It was a second marriage for each. Huldah was a widow residing in Epping at the time of marriage [she was previously married to a Symonds]. Charles was a widower residing in Newfields. They settled in Epping.

Huldah LOCKE, daughter of Richard LOCKE and Betsey TUPPER, was born about 1837 in Epsom, Merrimack, New Hampshire.⁸⁷ She died on 8 September 1903 at the age of 66 in Epping, Rockingham, New Hampshire.⁸⁷ Her death was reported by C. A. Morse, Newmarket. The death record was signed by H. Jenness Paul, Clerk of Newfields, New Hampshire. She was buried at Piscassic Cemetery in Newfields, Rockingham, New Hampshire.⁸⁷ Lot #5, Grave #21.
