It is unknown where the name Collyer came from but the family story is that John Wyman left Isadora and went west to build railroads. It is possible that Isadora was living with a man named Collyer in Boston and Alice used his surname. She died on 21 April 1917 at the age of 53 in Franklin, Norfolk, Massachusetts.2364 She was buried next to John Neilson on Ridge Hill in the Franklin, Massachusetts cemetery. She left the farm on West Meadow Road to her daughter Alice who lived there for some years in the 1930s. Isadora Maude PHILBROOK and John WYMAN were married in 1880.
