4818. Daniel THRASHER was born on 9 October 1835 in Ohio.79 He died on 23 October 1901 at the age of 66 in Missouri.79 He was a surveyor.79 Daniel was buried at New Bethel Cemetery in Anderson, McDonald, Missouri.1713 [uncertain]

Daniel Thrasher and his family left Champaign Co., Illinois. They re-located in St. John, Kansas somewhere around 1880; they bought 160 ac of land. For three years the crops were lost by storms, grasshoppers, and drought. After this they sold and moved to Kelly Springs, Missouri., near Anderson, Missouri. The land they sold in Kansas was later used to build the County Court House on. The night they arrived, the worse snowstorm of the century came. The snow was as high as the horse's belly.

The Thrashers had eleven chldren, ten horses, a new wagon, and 50 cents. The next day they went down the road and got a job at a sawmill.

Daniel homesteaded near Anderson, Missouri., and worked as a Surveyor, surveying Anderson and Neosho, Missouri. He also laid out Coy, Missouri. in city blocks in March 1886.

Later Daniel married Lanah Lewis who was born May 20, 1828 and died May 19, 1905 at the age of 77. She may have been part Indian.

Daniel THRASHER and Sarah were married about 1854.79 Sarah was born in 1838 in Pennsylvania.79 She died in 1863 at the age of 25.79

Daniel THRASHER and Lenah M. LEWIS were married about 1863.79 Lenah M. LEWIS was born on 20 May 1828 in Mercersburg, Franklin, Pennsylvania.79 She died on 19 May 1905 at the age of 76 in Illinois.79
