Emily Pike's diary says -
Sept 17, 1868 - the wife (Olive, daughter of Dr. Jacob Thrasher) of Sollomon Wells died to day of lung fever and Mr. Wells was away from home buying cattle in Pennsylvania
20 - Her funeral is to day put off so long to have Mr. Wells get home she professed to follow Christ and belonged to the church yet she mingled with the world some and went to evening parties with her husband to please him she says she leaves a companion to mourn she never had aney children has none to mourn for her

Cause of death was lung fever.

Olive Eastman THRASHER and Solomon WELLS were married on 6 February 1838 in Geauga County, Ohio.⁷⁹ Solomon WELLS was born on 21 April 1811.⁷⁹ He died on 29 March 1901 at the age of 89 in Troy Township, Geauga, Ohio.⁷⁹
