4782. Samuel Powers THRASHER was born on 12 November 1815 in Cornish City, Cheshire, New Hampshire.⁷⁹ He died on 12 April 1871 at the age of 55 in Claremont, Sullivan, New Hampshire.⁷⁹

Samuel was a stone mason and extensive building contractor, reportedly constructing or remodeling every bridge on the Central Vermont Railroad. He was a member of the State senate at the time of his death. He lived in Cornish most of his life, moving out only in the last few years. Samuel and Ann had 13 children.

Samuel Powers THRASHER and Ann Wakefield HAVEN were married in February 1843 in Cornish City, Sullivan, New Hampshire.⁷⁹ Ann Wakefield HAVEN was born on 27 October 1823 in Newport, Sullivan, New Hampshire.⁷⁹ She died on 31 October 1908 at the age of 85 in North Adams, Berkshire, Massachusetts.⁷⁹
