TREFETHEN were married in November 1835 in Rye, Rockingham, New Hampshire.85 They had six children, two of the sons fighting for the Union in the Civil War. One marched with Sherman to the Sea and one was in Vicksbury and Jackson. Sebastian J. TREFETHEN85, son of William TREFETHEN and Elizabeth TUCKER, was born on 27 January 1801 in Rye, Rockingham, New Hampshire.85 He died on 18 August 1875 at the age of 74 in Bull City, Osborne, Kansas.85 He was a whaling ship sailor.
