Eleventh Generation13576. Edward D. Philbrick, 74, of Concord, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at Concord Hospital, after a long illness. Born June 20, 1936, in Concord, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Clara (Audet) Philbrick. Ed served on the Concord Police Department from 1960 to 1981. He served on the Concord City Council from 1983 to 1987 and the New Hampshire State Legislature from 1987to 1988. Ed leaves behind his wife of over 29 years, Beverly (Routhier) Philbrick; two sons, Michael Philbrick and his wife, Patti, of Daytona Beach, Fla., and John Philbrick and his wife, Theresa, of Long Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Sheila (Philbrick) Drouin and her husband, Adam, of Northfield; two stepdaughters, Cheri Tullis and her husband, Jerry, of Blountville, Tenn., and Terri Flynn and her husband, Michael, of Middletown, R.I.; and six grandchildren, Michael Philbrick, Michael Flynn, Bailey Tullis, Connor Flynn, Amy Flynn and Noel Drouin. One of 11 children, he was predeceased by six of his siblings and leaves behind four brothers, Larry Philbrick and his wife, Avis, Jack Philbrick and his wife, Sandy, Harry Philbrick and his wife, Betty, all of Concord, and Jerry Philbrick and his wife, Debra, of Gulfport, Miss.
