Jane CLOSSON^519,1476 was born in 1821 in Maine. She died on 3 February 1850 at the age of 29 in Delaware County, Ohio.¹⁴⁷⁸ She was buried at Burnside-Bon Aire Cemetary in Galena, Delaware, Ohio.⁷⁰

Gail Stoker lists Polly's mother as Jane Closson. Information found on LDS website lists her maiden name as Clausen. Where did the alternate spelling come from and which is correct ? Gail also lists Jane's birthplace as Maine. (Her notes list an informant -- Mrs. Andrew Christinson. This is Polly's daughter Julia).
