9670. Emma Jane WEEKS⁵¹⁹ was born on 5 March 1867 in Galena, Delaware, Ohio. She died on 22 November 1893 at the age of 26 in Harlan, Shelby, Iowa. Daughters Vesta and Etta were raised by their grandmother Polly Weeks.

Emma Jane WEEKS and John Wesley GOODIN were married about 1890. John Wesley GOODIN⁵¹⁹ was born about 1852 in Galena, Delaware, Ohio. He died on 22 December 1922 at the age of 70 in Cody, Cherry, Nebraska. According to T. Paxton, "John Wesley is listed on the 1856 Iowa State Census, where he is lis ted as 4 years of age. He is also on the 1860 Federal Census, listed as age 7. In 1870 he i s living with a Lawrence family in Adams, Iowa."

Ruth Harms' Ancestral chart received 16 Feb 2001 has middle name of Wesley. (I already ha d a 'W') and has the death date of 5 Dec 1922 in Cody, Nebraska. I use those from her. She h as his birthdate as 1855, but I did not change mine. The 1860 Census, dated June 28, has ag e 7. The 1856 Census, which I don't have the date for, has age 4. I expect he was born betwee n June 28 and the date of the 1856 Census in 1852, so that is the date I use.
