RITES TOMORROW FOR SGT. BUNNELL
The body of Sgt. 1/c Hubert K. Bunnell, of 661 Brewster street, who died in a Communist prison camp in Korea, will arrive at the Bridgeport railroad station tomorrow at noon.

The train will be met by a delegation from the Rogers Brothers Post 149, American Legion, and a firing squad of the National Guard. The groups, joined by a Police motorcycle guard, will escort the body to Mountain Grove cemetery for military services.

The rites will be conducted tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. in the cemetery, with the Rev. William Sullivan, officiating. The Charles W. Dougiettto and Sons funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

The American Legion and the National Guard units will take part in the ritual at the cemetery.

The death of Sgt. Bunnell, who was missing in action three years, was announced by the Defense Department Aug. 15, 1953. Sgt. Bunnell was sent to Korea with an engineer unit in August of 1950 and was reported missing in action Nov. 31, 1950.

Born in Fairfield, Sgt. Bunnell had served in Germany and France during World War II and was discharged. Then he reenlisted for the Korean conflict.

Sgt. Bunnell attended Roger Ludlowe High school and at one time was an employee of the Seaboard Freight Line.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Anita and Eunice Bunnell and a son, Hubert Bunnell; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bunnell, of Hartford.
