Major Joseph H. PEASE and Mary "Polly" JENNESS were married on 12 November 1795 in Newmarket, Rockingham, New Hampshire.445 [She is listed as Polly in the New Hampshire Genealogical Record, Vol. VI, 1909: Newmarket Town Records, p. 140.] They were married by Samuel Tomb, Clergyman. Reported by Matthew T. Kennedy, Clerk of Newmarket, 24 Aug 1905. Following their marriage they settled in Piscassic and lived on his father's farm. Mary "Polly" JENNESS, daughter of Isaac JENNESS and Mercy HAINES, was born in 1776 in Newmarket, Rockingham, New Hampshire.137 She died on 8 April 1847 at the age of 71 in Tamworth, Carroll, New Hampshire.445 She was buried at Piscassic Cemetery in Newfields, Rockingham, New Hampshire.703 [Beside her husband.] Major Joseph H. He does not appear in the 1880 census for South Newmarket so he must have been living elsewhere.
