WARREN - Mary A. Lounsbury, 66, of 26 Jackson St., Apt. B, died at 2 a.m. Thursday (April 8, 2005) in Warren General Hospital.
She was born Oct. 10, 1938, in Silver Creek,(Chautauqua CO NY) the daughter of (*ORLAND) William and Mabel I. Fink Philbrick and the foster daughter of the late George and Bessie Howard.

She was a 1957 graduate of Randolph High School and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. She had been employed by Warren State Hospital as a custodian. She was a member of the Warren Senior Citizens.

She is survived by two sons: Edward Lounsbury II of Humanville, Mo., and Jeffrey Lounsbury of St. Louis; three daughters: Christal Brown of Conewango Valley, Theresa Lounsbury of Tidioute, Pa., and Patricia Lounsbury of Illinois; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson;

six brothers:
Alvin Howard of Spring Hill, Fla.,
Donald Philbrick of Milwaukee, Ore.,
Chet Philbrick of Old Bridge, N.J., William Philbrick of (ORLAND JR) Jamestown and Charles and Hank Philbrick, both of Ohio; and six sisters: Dorothy GRISANTI of Forestville, Joyce MASTER of Summerville, N.J., Lola Opalenik of Erie, Caroline STEWART of Stockton and Sue HAND and Viola ,MULHOLLAND both of Zephyr Hills, Fla.

She was preceded in death by a son, James Lounsbury; a grandson, Zachery Lounsbury; five brothers: Douglas, Bernard and Howard Philbrick, Carl Jr. and Jimmy Rassmussen; and five sisters: Catherine GILLSON , Audrey ARDE, April PHILBRICK, Marie BUCKLER and Betty BRIDENBAKER .

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the VanRennselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph. The Rev. Charles Archer, pastor of Ellington Community Church, will officiate.
military honors will be conducted by the Randolph American Legion Post 181.
