Mrs. Marian Mallatt was organist and sang "Whispering Hope" and "Amazing Grace." Pallbearers were Bernard Asbra, leon May, Tom Fredricksen, Harold Sudbeck, Larry Harrington and Tim Harrington. Burial was at the Laurel Cemetery with arrangements by Wiltse Mortuary of Laurel. Grace Harrington, daughter of William and Olive Philbrick Searle, was born December 27, 1894 in Iowa. She moved to Laurel as a child and lived the rest of her life in the Laurel community. She Married James Raymond Harrington on January 27, 1912 at Laurel. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and American Legion Auxiliary in Laurel. Mrs. Harrington died Friday, May 20 at the Osmond General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Doug. Survivors include three sons, Lawrence of Roseville, Calif., Robert of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Rod of Laurel; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Kennedy of Newbury Park, Calif., and Mrs. Bette Dovel of Olympia, Wash.; 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. After she was widowed in 1943, her niece Gloria Bruggerman lived with her in Laurel until 1948. Grace was a remarkable woman. She was an amputee and wore out six artificial legs. Grace O.
