2. She was informant on Mother's death Cert. L (Leslie) H. Butka, M.D. and the rest of his family was raised by May in Ohio. All the boys became M.D.'s. Helene also remembers her mother talking about Sutphin (Grantee on Van. W.V. deed.) (1)

3. Conv. w/ Donna Murphy on 1-93. May had a rooming house in Kenton, Oh. Effie and Donna's Mother worked for her. Most of the roomers were from the Kenton Hardware Mfg. Co.

Julia May PHILBRICK and John Lemuel MARTIN were married. John Lemuel MARTIN^2172,2173, son of William Cooper MARTIN and Sarah GLASGOW, was born about 1875. He died in Pomona, Los Angeles, California. He was buried at Pomona Cemetery in Pomona, Los Angeles, California.
