52. John Shaffner^{(1) (2)} was born about 1802 in Germany.⁽¹⁵⁾ He has reference number 52. Although the writing is unclear, this John appears to show up on the 1850 census of Fairvie w Township, York County, PA, page 387, line 38.

53. Unknown Unknown died before 1850. She was born EST 1804. She has reference number 53. Since she does not appear on the 1850 census, it is assumed that she was deceased by then. Children were:
