Also says Andreas was brother-in-law of Hans Jacob Weiss, an emigrant from Steinsfurt. See J ohn Jacob Weiss, Jr., baptismal sponsor of John Leonhardt Woolf in 1738, Lancaster Co.

Christened 18 JUN 1707 at Ittlingen, Bavaria, Germany He was married to Regina Ziegler on 4 Dec 1739 in Muddy Ck Luth Ch, Lancaster Co., Pa. December 4, 1739 is the date given in the church records.

181. Regina Ziegler⁽¹⁾⁽²⁾ was born on 5 Feb 1718. She was christened on 5 Feb 1718 in Germany. Children were:

Marriages: 1st marriage est. from daughter Elizabeth's birthdate; 2nd

Children: There are more Wolfs than these in Rockingham at the time, but
these either have V. mentioned as father or surety in their marriage
records (Elizabeth, Margaret, Katy, & Mary), or they show up on land tax
list after V's death, their land conveyed by him (Jacob & Henry). The exception is George; R ussell Armentrout says he is son of V. Eve is probably a daughter also; she married Henry Sh eets, who was a neighbor of Valentine's and was deeded land from him.

Death: Rockingham executor bonds (FHL film 33505).

David and Isaac Wolf also seem to be related to Valentine. David is
bondsman for V's daughter Mary's marriage; Isaac is surety for V's 2nd marriage, but I don' t see any Rockingham marriages for them. Are they his brothers or unrelated?
