In this city, Monday, Oct. 25, 1937, Charles Yaeger, aged 80 years. He is survived by his wife, Lilly; six sons, William A., Charles W., Carl F., Elston G., Raymond L., Roland A.; one daughter, Mrs. George Roberts of this city; three brothers, Henry and George Yaeger of Buffalo, N.Y., Jacob Yaeger of Virginia; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services wil take place from the family residence, 87 Pembrook Street, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.

Charles W. and Alice C. Yaeger, who were married 54 years , died in Rochester General Hospital within about 48 hours of each other. Yaeger, 86, died on Saturday. His wife, who was 81, died Monday. They had been hospitalized since October. For the past five years Mrs. Yaeger had devoted most of her time to taking care of her husband. They lived with a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Albert, at 4226 Lake Ave. Yaeger, a world war 1 veteran, retired in 1958 after working at Eastman Kodak Co. for 43 years. Roland A. Yaeger, Architect, 75, Dies
Roland A. Yaeger, a Rochester architect who designed number of area buildings, died Thursday ( December 27, 1979) at Strong Memorial Hospital following a long ilness. Mr. Yaeger was 75.
His designs included the Monroe Savings Bank downtown at 300 E. Main St., The Marine Midland Bank at Main & East Avenue, the interior of Community Savings Bank at 45 Exchange St., and branch offices for local banks.
He also designed an office building for Rumrill-Hoyt Inc., an advertising and public relations firm, at 1895 Mt. Hope Ave.
Mr. Yaeger, who lived for many years at 201 French Road in Pittsford, worked on designs for the Pittsford Town Hall on South Main St., the Pittsford Fire House and the east wing of the Pittsford Presbyterian Church.
Born in Rochester, Mr. Yaeger graduated from the University of Michigan. He was a former president of Michigan's Rochester alumni club.
Mr. Yaeger was also a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, the University Club of Rochester, the Rochester Society of Architects and the American Institute of Architechs. He was former president of Pittsford's Long Meadow Association.
Mr. Yaeger is survived by a daughter, Diane Doorley of Brighton; a son, Roland N. Yaeger of Clarkson, and six grandchildren.unknown Rochester, New York newspaper
Roland A. Yaeger of Brighton
Roland A. Yaeger of 521 French Road, Brighton, an architect who designed many Rochester bank offices and redesigned the interiors of several public buildings in Pittsford, died Thursday at Strong Memorial Hospital. He was 75.
Yaeger designed the colonial-style Monroe Savings Bank at 300 E. Main St. and the former Genesee Valley Trust Co. at East Avenue and Main Street, now the East Avenue Branch of Marine Midland Bank.
He also worked on several Marine Midland offices and branch banks, the First Federal Savings & Loan Association and the interior of the Community Savings Bank Times Square Office, 45 Exchange St. In 1952 he designed the alterations to the old Union Trust Co. at 19 West Main St., the present Marine Midland Four Corners Office.
Yaeger also designed banks in Rome, Oneida County, and other cities. He was architect for the Rumrill-Hoyt Inc. building at 1895 Mt. Hope Ave., and several sales strucures of automobile agencies.
He was born in Rochester, attended east High School and graduated from the University of Michigan. He was a draftsman for businesses in Rochester, taught commercial art at Monroe High School in the 1930s and was a partner in the Dailey, Briggs and Yaeger architectural firm before he set up his own business about 1950. His office was in the First Federal Building at 328 E. Main St. for several years. Yaeger, who lived at 201 French Road, Pittsford, for many years, did interior alterations in the old Pittsford Town Hall on South Main Street, redesigned the Pittsford Fire House and built a wing on the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford. He also proposed plans for the colonial-style architecture on Main Street and State Street in the village.
He was a member of the University Club, the Art Center of Rochester and the Rochester Society of Architects. Yaeger was a past president of the University of Michigan Alumni Club of Rochester and the Long Meadow Association in Pittsford and past trustee of the former Mt. Hor Presbyterian Church in Rochester.
The American Institute of Architects awarded him an emeritus membership.
Yaeger leaves a daughter, Diane Doorley of Rochester; a son Roland Newell Yaeger of Brockport, and six grandchildren.
