First Generation

1. Henry1 Curran was born in Ireland. He married Nancy Lashles.

Henry Curran and Nancy Lashles had the following children:

2 i. John P.2 Curran was born in New York State 1834. He died November 22, 1870. John served in the military in Albion, Orleans County, New York, May 03, 1861. Enlisted May 03, 1861 at Albion, New York. Private company G, 28 Infantry. promoted to corporal February 22, 1862; sargent December 7, 1862. Captured at Culpeper Virginia, August 9, 1862. Rejoined unit October 21, 1862. Discharged at Albany, New York June 3, 1863.. H

3 ii. Mary Curran was born 1840.

6 v. Dennis Curran was born 1843.

11 x. Charles Curran was born in Albion, Orleans County, New York 1850. Charles died May 20, 1899 in Albion, Orleans County, New York. His body was interred May 21, 1899 in Albion, Orleans County, New York, Mt. Albion Cemetery.

 

 

 Second Generation

 4. George2 Curran (Henry1_) i D1 D2 O H was born in Albion, Orleans County, New York November 10,1840.George served in the military in Albion, Orleans County, New York, December 29,1863. Enlisted December 29, 1863; company K, 8th N Y Heavy Artillery; transfered June 5, 1865 to company L, 4th N Y Heavy Artillery Rank:Private. Discharged September 26, 1865. George died June 14, 1920 in Albion, Orleans County, New York, at 79 years of age. His body was interred June 17, 1920 in Albion, Orleans County, New York, Mt. Albion Cemetery. He married Sarah Sears i D O H in Albion, Orleans County, New York, November 10, 1858. Sarah was born in Albion, Orleans County, New York January 27, 1842. Sarah died August 30, 1924 in Albion, Orleans County, New York, at 82 years of age. Her body was interred September 02, 1924 in Albion, Orleans County, New York, Mt. Albion Cemetery.

George Curran and Sarah Sears had the following children:

13 ii. William Henry Curran was born November, 1862. His body was interred August 27, 1864 in Albion, Orleans County, New York, Mt. Albion Cemetery.

14 iii. Henry A. Curran was born May, 1866. His body was interred August 13, 1866 in Albion, Orleans County, New York, Mt. Albion Cemetery.

15 iv. Alice Curran was born December 10, 1868 in Albion, Orleans County, New York. She married Lister Stirk June 20, 1887 in Albion, Orleans County,New York. He was the son of Thomas Stirk and Ann Jowett. Alice died December 31, 1929 in Albion,her body was interred January 03, 1930 in Albion, Orleans County, New York, Mt. Albion Cemetery. 16 v. Ida Curran was born March, 1873.

19 viii. Maude Curran Maude died April,1947 in Medina, Orleans Co. New York. Her body was interred April 25, 1947 in Albion, Orleans County, New York, Mt. Albion Cemetery. She married Clarence Burch. Clarence was born in Canada 1888. (See Clarence Burch for the continuation of this line.)

12. John H.3 Curran (George2, Henry1_) was born in Albion, Orleans County, New York October 27, 1859. He married Christina Younkers.

John H. Curran had the following children:

21 ii. Mabel Curran. married Unknown Walters.

22 iii. Virginia Curran. married Unknown Houlihan.

23 iv. Ruth Curran married Unknown Gezell.

24 v. Dewey Curran was born August 23, 1898, he died December 21, 1969
in Rochester, Monroe County, New York.

26 vii. George Roslyn Curran was born 1893. He married Emilee J. Doescher in Rochester, Monroe County, New York, March 25, 1920. Emilee was born in Rochester, Monroe County, New York 1896. She was the daughter of Samual Doescher and Eva Geis.

 

17. Harrey3 Curran (George2, Henry1_) was born in Albion, Orleans County, New York September 10, 1874. Harrey died February 04, 1917 in Niagara Falls,Niagara Co. New York, at 42 years of age. His body was interred February 05, 1917 in Albion, Orleans County, New York, Mt. Albion Cemetery. He married Alice Robinson in New York State, 1899. Alice was born in England September 1879. O

Harrey Curran and Alice Robinson had the following children:

28 ii. Harriett Lucille Curran was born in Albion, Orleans County, New York. She married Edward Alvin Evans in Rochester, Monroe County, New York. Edward was born in Trenton, Ontario, Canada 1898. He is the son of William J. Evans and Julia A. Purvan.

 

18. Thomas3 Curran (George2, Henry1_) was born in Albion, Orleans County, New York December 13, 1877. He married Annabelle McEntee. Annabelle was born in New York State 1880.
