FRITZ At present I am interested in Lourie Fritz who married Ruth Smith abt. 1920 and later moved to NJ.Lourie had brothers named Albert,Walter and Michael who died in a Train accident where he was scalded to death. His wife died within 24 hours of him. Lourie's parents are Joseph and Susannah Fritz. The Fritz family owned a knitting mill, "Landing Knitting Company" and quite a bit of land. GERLY --Gerly brother's married the Griffiths sisters in the 1890's in Reilly Twn.Schuylkill. I have no idea if they ever lived in Bucks or any of the other counties. I have not been able to find them in Pa. after the 1900's. Charles Gerly b: 1868 married Susannah Griffiths. in the 1860 census. James m Mary DONOGHUE (and other spellings) who was
born reportedly in Pottsville (1841). They and James' sister Catherine and
her husband Thomas REILY (1836 IRL) were living in Mahanoy Twp in 1870.
James and Mary traveled back and forth to CT, and James died in Luzerne or
Lackawanna County in 1887. Can't find any of the rest of the Gilligans.
Where'd they go? Mary Donoghue Gilligan wed Patrick BOLAND in 1890 and
moved permanently to CT, where she died.
