ADVISORY COUNCIL - NORFOLK ISLAND 1935-1959

The Advisory Council of eight elected members was constituted under and by
virtue of the Advisory Council Ordinance 1935.  At the first meeting of the
Council, which was held in the beginning of August of each year, the
President was elected.
