DIRECTIONS
From Birchleaf, VA take route 670 across the Russell Fork about 3.5 miles to where it meets route 671. Go left on 671 for about .3 mile until you come to a split in the road. Take the right fork, this being now Route 679 and follow for about 4 miles until it turns into a gravel road. Soon it T's at the top of a hill. Take the left road for 1/5 mile and the cemetery will be on your left.

FIELD NOTES: 11/23/98
This cemetery is one of the best kept I've visited and extremely beautiful for it's grounds and views. The caretaker visits this remote corner of the mountains every other day and is a source of great pleasure and pride for him. He also requested that he not be mentioned by name, but we should all have beautiful spirits like this looking after our memorials.
