MELUNGEON SURNAME PROJECT
The Melungeon E-Mail List has started a project to collect and compare information on Melungeon and Melungeon-related surnames. The following people have volunteered to be coordinators for the surnames listed beside their name. If you have information that you would like to contribute, click on the researcher's name beside the appropriate surname to send an e-mail to that coordinator. Collected information will be posted to the e-mail list and on this webpage. By sharing information, you can expand the knowledge of Melungeon families, help others in researching their Melungeon connections, and maybe even fill in a few of the blanks in your own family tree.
