MRS. ALLIE HENDERSON

Mrs. Allie Henderson passed away at her home last Wednesday evening, January 25, 1939 following a long illness, through which she was a patient sufferer.

The subject of this sketch was born at Pike, N.Y., July 2, 1888, daughter of Albert and Rosalia Chaffee. She had resided most of her life in Shinglehouse. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Henderson was a great homebody, good neighbor and a true friend. She will be greatly missed in the family circle.

She is survived by five sons, Kenneth, William, Wayne, Clair and Ned Henderson; two daughters Lucille and Guinivere Henderson; one grandson, Robert, all of Shinglehouse; two sisters, Mrs. James Stewart of Pike, N.Y., and Mrs. Adam Smith of Duke Center; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church Saturday afternoon at one-thirty. Dr. J.F. Wienhauer, pastor, officiated. Interment was made in the local cemetery, H.D. Morton was funeral director.
