You must turn off html before you send your message, as Rootsweb does not accept messages in html -- they will be returned to you without going to the list. If you find that you have a problem sending messages to the list, there are two things to check. First, check that you are using the proper address. DO NOT send messages intended for the list to VAAPPOMA-L-request; you must use [email protected] instead. Second, check to see that the e-mail address under which you subscribed to the list is the same e-mail address from which you are trying to send your message. The use of aliases is one possible cause for problems experienced in sending messages.
