Where We Live:

Montebello condominiums are located just a quarter mile south of the Washington Beltway (I-95) on Route 1. (Going north on I-95, take the Route 1/Ft Belvoir exit just before crossing the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.) The four Montebello high-rises are up on a hill to the right with an access road to Mt Eagle Drive. Ed's Biographical Data: Served three years (1951-1954) in the US Army, 82d Airborne Division. Earned a BA degree in general arts and sciences from Pennsylvania State University. Worked for a year as a carpenter in San Pedro, CA; seven months for the US Postal Service (rail service); two-and-a-third years US Foreign Service in Madrid; sixteen years as a procurement officer for the US Navy in various locations; nine years at US Department of Agriculture headquarters, and eight years at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration headquarters.

• Married to Maria Guadalupe Pizarro Espinosa on 9/18/1963 in the City and Garrison of Gibraltar in the presence of L.E.Brownbridge and Jane McClelland Maust. Divorced 5/14/75. Maria was born 4/6/39 in La Coronada De Fuenteovejuna, Cordoba, Spain. She had one daughter - Maria Jesus Alicia, born 3/28/59 in Spain - later adopted by Walter Edmond McClelland. Born of this marriage was Christopher Edmond McClelland on 9/18/68 at the Kapiolani Childrens Hospital in Honolulu, HI.
• Married to Eloise Eugenia "Genie" Cowand on 5/30/1975 in Virginia Beach, VA. Genie was born 10/12/1945 and died 9/23/1983. She had one son - Eric Robert Wieting, and one daughter - Jennifer Michelle Wieting, from a previous marriage. Born of this marriage on 3/17/1976 in Norfolk, VA. at DePaul Hospital was David Herron McClelland.
• Married to Rosemary Ruth "Susi" (Gribble) Frederick on 8/4/1986 in Arlington, VA. Divorced 3/13/1991. Susi had one son - Christian - from a previous marriage.
