Edward (David?) Roberts Born c.1727. Died c.1790. Married 8/15/1748 to Elizabeth ___ (d. 11/19/1805). Buried Penns Valley, Centre Co, PA. He was a private in American Revolutionary War in Capt. Beatty's First Company of Lt.Col. Thomas Bull's Second Batalion of the Chester County Pennsylvania Militia (Note 1).

Edward Roberts Born in Wales abt. 1690. He died in Providence Twp, Philadelphia Co, Penna, now Lower Providence Twp, Montgomery Co. The original Roberts homestead was near the town of Eagleville, about 21 miles northwest of Philadelphia. His will was proved 1/16/1753. (Notes 2 & 3)
