JOHN MORRIS ( -1809) - Will, Recorded in Anderson Co, SC In the Name of God Amen I John Morris Sen. of Pendleton District in the state of South Carolina being of Sound mind & Memory but weake of Body & Knowing that it is Allotted Once for all men to die do make constitute & Ordain this my last will & Testement that is to Say I Give my Soul to God who gave it to me & my Body to the Dust to be Decently Burried. Item 1st I Lend to my Beloved wife Baylis Morris the Whole of my estate Both Real & Personall except What I Hereafter Bequeath During her life time. Item 2d After my Decase I Give to my beloving Daughter Elizabeth Ragon One Cow & Calf & One Feather bed & furniture. Item 3d After the Decase of my beloved wife I Give & Bequeath to my Beloved Son John H.
