Georgia       )  I Jeremiah Lewis hath this day sold to Philip Lewis
Elbert Couty  )  Junr a certain parcel of land containing four acres 
                 more or less lying in the county and State aforesaid
being the part whereon his house now stands bounding as follows 
beginning on a black oak corner on John Clevelands line and down the 
Rocky branch Oak Corner on said Philip Lewises line thence over the 
line until it strikes Cleveland line thence on said line to the 
beginning Corner for and in Consideration of the sum of Eight Dollars 
the whereof is hereby acknowledged to have and to hold the sd bargained
land and premises with all the appentenances thereon to belonging or 
in any ways appertaining unto the sd P. Lewis his heirs or assigns 
forever with full warranted title free from the claim of all persons 
what was directly or indirectly In witness of I have unto set my hand 
and seal the twenty first day of December Eighteen hundred and Seven -
