Moore since 1856. First knew him in Choctaw County, MS J. T. Moore enlisted July 1861 at Belle Fontaine, MS in Company K, 15 Miss. Reg. and served until close of war. I enlisted in the same company at same time and place and slept with him through the war. I knew of no other soldiers of same name. Signed John W. I knew him first in Choctaw Co, MS. He enlisted in 15 Reg Co K. He enlisted July 15, 1861 at Bellfontaine and was mustered in at Corrinth, Miss on the 16th July in 1861. He served in Tennessee Army From Miss North & South Carolinas KY He served to the close of the war. He was a private and volunteered. We enlisted at the same time in the same Co and Reg and were messmates I don't know of any other Soldier or Sailor by the name of J. T. Moore. Signed W. J.
