Between Joseph Moore of the one part and John Moore of the other part Both of the State of GEorgia and County of Elbert Witnesseth that the said Joseph Moore hath for the sum of Two Shillings and four pence Sterling to him in Hand paid by the said John Moore. - hath granted Bargained sold given release and confirmd and by these presents do grant give release and forever confirm unto my said Son John Moore his heirs and assigns all that devided parcel of Land lying and being in the said Cpu nty of Elbert on the North fork of Vann's Creek Containing by Estimation one Hundred and Eighty Acres be the same More or less lying withing the Bounds Hereafter Mentioned. Begining at the Cucumber Gum on the said Creek thence on the said Joseph Moore old lines on Robert Taylor lines as mentioned in the said Moore Grant and Jacob Hamilton lines to a New Govner White Oak thence a New mark. Ane on the North side of the said Creek by a Station Sowerwood at the first branch below the Mile and pasing a Station post oak to Hickory Corner on the said Creek below said Mill from thence down said Creek to the Begining and is part of a larger Survey of Two Hundred acres granted to James Foster on the tenth day of February in the year of our lord one thousand and Eighty five by His Excellances G Elbert for Wilks County to have and to hold the aforesaid Devided parcel of Land unto the only proper use Benefits and Behalf of the Said John Moore his heirs and assigns forever and the Said Joseph Moore as Covenant and agree with the Said John Moore to warrant and by these presents for ever defend the said Divided parcel I of Land from all persons else claimes the same by, trom and under his.
