The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.rootsweb/~usgenweb/ Submitted by Mary Love Berryman - marylove@tyler.net 16 June 2001 ***************************************************************** STATE OF GEORGIA This indentdre made the twenty=sixth of February the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Ninety one, and in the fifteenth year Independence of the United States of America Between Moses Tremble of the County of Elbert and State aforesaid of the one part, and Isaac Meadows of the State and County aforesaid of th other part, Witnesseth that the said Moses Tremble for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty Pounds Lawfull money of the said State where in named will and truly Pass by the said Isaac Meadows at or before the sealing and delivery of those presents the Receipt where of hereby acknowledged hath granted, Bargained, sold, released, and confirmed and by these presents doth grant Bargain, sell, and confirm unto the siad Isaac Meadows whose heirs and assigns all that ract, or parcell of Land containing One hundred and thirty Acres situated and lying on the south fork of Vanns Creek and on the south side of said Creek, begining on a pine at the Creek Bending in Joseph Moore's line thence to a poast oak thence to Tukedmark Colberts corner & Red Oak thence on Thomas Colberts line to the Creek on or thence down, the Creek to the Begining together with all and Singular the Rights, Members and Appertunes thereof whatsoever to the said tract of Land belonging on in anywise appertaining and the Remaining Reversions, Rents, Issues and profits thereof and any part thereof unto the said lsaac Meadows whose heirs and assigns to the only proper use Benefit and of the said Isaac Meadows his heirs and assigns and the said Moses Tremble; for himself his heirs Executors, and Moses Tremble Sealed and delivered in presence of Philip Lewis Reuben Allen Moses Tremble Registered 2nd day of April 1793 Georgia Archives: Drawer 81, Roll 20 Elbert Book A, 1791-1793, p. 141b and 142a This Indenture made this twentyeth day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and ninety two and of one foundation the Between Isaac Meadows and Mary his wife of the county of Elbert and State of Georgia of the one part and William Moore of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth, that the said Isaac Meadows and Mary his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of fifty pounds sterling to them in hand paid by the said William Moore before the sealing and (same description as the above) Isaac Meadows Mary X Meadows Signed Sealed and delivered in Presents of Reuben Thornton Reubin Allen 3.
